Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM254 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM254 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher TMEM254 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM254 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and COAD are the cancer types where TMEM254 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
