Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM245 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM245 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TMEM245 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM245 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRC, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where TMEM245 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
