Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM244 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM244 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TMEM244 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM244 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where TMEM244 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
