Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM244 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 638 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible TMEM244-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU1-80P, OR4A5, and RNA5SP161. Each is linked with TMEM244 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM244-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM244 results are reported.
