Across TCGA cell cohorts, TMEM238 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,564 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM238-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Establishment of epithelial cell apical/basal polarity, Response to indole-3-methanol, and Actomyosin contractile ring organization. Each is linked with TMEM238 in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM238-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM238 results are reported.
