Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM234 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM234 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher TMEM234 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM234 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC and LUSC are the cancer types where TMEM234 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
