Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM232 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,047 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible TMEM232-associated genes across cancer lineages are CENPS-CORT, ZNF271P, and LINC02084. Each is linked with TMEM232 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM232-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM232 results are reported.
