Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM229A RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 10,635 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM229A-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SAP18, SF3B2, and SF3B3. Each is linked with TMEM229A in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM229A-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM229A results are reported.
