Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM207 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM207 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TMEM207 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM207 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC and UCEC are the cancer types where TMEM207 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
