Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM205 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM205 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher TMEM205 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM205 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KICH and SCLC are the cancer types where TMEM205 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
