Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM192 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM192 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher TMEM192 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM192 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

LSCC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where TMEM192 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
