Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM185A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,022 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMEM185A-associated genes across cancer lineages are BRI3BP, NF2, and ZNF165. Each is linked with TMEM185A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM185A-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM185A results are reported.
