Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM184A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM184A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TMEM184A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM184A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and PRAD are the cancer types where TMEM184A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
