Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, TMEM178A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,113 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible TMEM178A-associated genes across cancer lineages are UCN2, CDS2, and SEC14L5. Each is linked with TMEM178A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMEM178A-to-partner and partner-to-TMEM178A results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, TMEM178A versus UCN2 in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of -0.38.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TMEM178A→partner) and Y-score (partner→TMEM178A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
