Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM150A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM150A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher TMEM150A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM150A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, BLCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where TMEM150A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
