Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM14C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM14C data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher TMEM14C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM14C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and LGG are the cancer types where TMEM14C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
