Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM147 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM147 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TMEM147 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM147 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, SKCM, and CESC are the cancer types where TMEM147 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
