Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMEM108 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TMEM108 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher TMEM108 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMEM108 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
CESC, OV, and LIHC are the cancer types where TMEM108 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
