Across TCGA cell cohorts, TMC4 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,741 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TMC4-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Sensory perception of salty taste, Regulation of inner ear receptor cell differentiation, and tRNA wobble uridine modification. Each is linked with TMC4 in more than 12 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TMC4-to-partner and partner-to-TMC4 results are reported.
