Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TMC3-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TMC3-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher TMC3-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TMC3-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and READ show a favorable association.

KIRP, PAAD, and READ are the cancer types where TMC3-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
