Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TM7SF3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TM7SF3 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TM7SF3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TM7SF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, PRAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where TM7SF3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
