Across TCGA patient cohorts, TLR5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,331 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TLR5-associated genes across cancer lineages are MCM4, POU3F4, and CFTR. Each is linked with TLR5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TLR5-to-partner and partner-to-TLR5 results are reported.
