Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TIGD4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TIGD4 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher TIGD4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TIGD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where TIGD4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
