Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TIE1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TIE1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TIE1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TIE1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.

KIRC, SCLC, and MESO are the cancer types where TIE1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
