Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THUMPD3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated THUMPD3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher THUMPD3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THUMPD3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LUAD show a favorable association.

GBM, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where THUMPD3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
