Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, THSD7B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated THSD7B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG), where higher THSD7B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated THSD7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and SKCM show a favorable association.

PCPG, CESC, and SCLC are the cancer types where THSD7B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
