Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TGIF2LY RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of TGIF2LY’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where TGIF2LY RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types TGIF2LY is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC are the cancer types where TGIF2LY tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
