Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TGFB2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TGFB2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher TGFB2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TGFB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, HNSC, and PRAD are the cancer types where TGFB2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
