Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, TFAP2A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,541 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible TFAP2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are POLE2, CDT1, and CDCA4. Each is linked with TFAP2A in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TFAP2A-to-partner and partner-to-TFAP2A results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, POLE2 grouped by TFAP2A-low versus TFAP2A-high in COAD.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TFAP2A→partner) and Y-score (partner→TFAP2A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
