TFAP2A

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, TFAP2A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 117 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TFAP2A-associated genes across cancer lineages are REG1B, PCARE, and MAGEB4. Each is linked with TFAP2A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TFAP2A-to-partner and partner-to-TFAP2A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, REG1B grouped by TFAP2A-low versus TFAP2A-high in SKIN.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TFAP2A→partner) and Y-score (partner→TFAP2A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
