Across TCGA patient cohorts, TF mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 43 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TF-associated genes across cancer lineages are p62 Lck ligand, ATM, and MEK1. Each is linked with TF in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TF-to-partner and partner-to-TF results are reported.
