Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TESC-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TESC-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TESC-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TESC-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and KIRC show a favorable association.

LUAD, LUSC, and OV are the cancer types where TESC-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
