Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TERF2IP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TERF2IP data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher TERF2IP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TERF2IP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, BRCA, and PRAD are the cancer types where TERF2IP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
