Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TEPP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TEPP data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher TEPP Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TEPP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, ESCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where TEPP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
