Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TEP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TEP1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher TEP1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TEP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
READ, UCEC, and PAAD are the cancer types where TEP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
