Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TCF7L1-IT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated TCF7L1-IT1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher TCF7L1-IT1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TCF7L1-IT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and GBM show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and MESO are the cancer types where TCF7L1-IT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
