Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TBC1D31 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TBC1D31 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher TBC1D31 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TBC1D31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and LSCC are the cancer types where TBC1D31 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
