Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAX1BP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAX1BP1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher TAX1BP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAX1BP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV and CCRCC are the cancer types where TAX1BP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
