TAS2R8

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, TAS2R8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TAS2R8-associated genes across cancer lineages are PBX4, THG1L, and GOLPH3L. Each is linked with TAS2R8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TAS2R8-to-partner and partner-to-TAS2R8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, TAS2R8 versus PBX4 in COAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.63.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (TAS2R8→partner) and Y-score (partner→TAS2R8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
