Across TCGA cell cohorts, TAS2R8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 590 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TAS2R8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of RNA splicing, Regulation of double-strand break repair, and Sensory perception of mechanical stimulus. Each is linked with TAS2R8 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TAS2R8-to-partner and partner-to-TAS2R8 results are reported.
