Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TAOK2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TAOK2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher TAOK2 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TAOK2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and HNSC are the cancer types where TAOK2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
