Across TCGA patient cohorts, TANK-AS1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,597 significant associations in total. STAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TANK-AS1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of DNA biosynthetic process, Positive regulation of DNA metabolic process, and Viral genome replication. Each is linked with TANK-AS1 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TANK-AS1-to-partner and partner-to-TANK-AS1 results are reported.
