Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TANGO2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TANGO2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher TANGO2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TANGO2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where TANGO2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
