Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, TALDO1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated TALDO1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher TALDO1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated TALDO1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.
LSCC, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where TALDO1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
