Across TCGA patient cohorts, TAGLN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,674 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible TAGLN-associated genes across cancer lineages are MYL9, MEDAG, and ACTA2. Each is linked with TAGLN in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both TAGLN-to-partner and partner-to-TAGLN results are reported.
