Across TCGA cell cohorts, SYT8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,919 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SYT8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of iron ion transport, Positive regulation of iron ion transmembrane transport, and Positive regulation of synapse structural plasticity. Each is linked with SYT8 in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SYT8-to-partner and partner-to-SYT8 results are reported.
