Across TCGA patient cohorts, SYP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,280 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SYP-associated genes across cancer lineages are SNAP25, CHRNB2, and TES. Each is linked with SYP in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SYP-to-partner and partner-to-SYP results are reported.
