Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYNPR-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SYNPR-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SYNPR-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYNPR-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and BRCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, KICH, and LUAD are the cancer types where SYNPR-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
