Across TCGA patient cohorts, SYNM protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,155 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SYNM-associated genes across cancer lineages are RHOJ, SPARCL1, and JAM2. Each is linked with SYNM in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SYNM-to-partner and partner-to-SYNM results are reported.
