Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SYNJ2BP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SYNJ2BP data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SYNJ2BP mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SYNJ2BP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and OV show a favorable association.
CCRCC, OV, and HNSC are the cancer types where SYNJ2BP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
